Watch live: White House holds news briefing ahead of Trump-Putin call
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is scheduled to brief reporters Monday morning.
The briefing is scheduled shortly before President Trump is scheduled to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in separate calls as he pushes for a ceasefire between the two nations.
It also follows the House Budget Committee advancing his “big, beautiful bill” late Sunday and former President Biden’s office announcing he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer Sunday afternoon.
Monday morning’s White House news briefing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. EDT.
