One person was killed and four others injured following a shooting at a Minnesota health care clinic on Tuesday morning.

The shooting took place at Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, Minn., the Star Tribune reported. Authorities were reportedly investigating a suspicious device that was also found at the scene.

All five people people injured in the shooting were taken to the hospital, with a hospital spokesperson telling The Associated Press later Tuesday that one of them had died.

The three others were in stable but critical condition. The fourth was discharged, the AP reported.

A suspect taken into custody was identified as Gregory Paul Ulrich, 67. The AP reported that the man, who is from Buffalo, was unhappy with health care he had received in the past.

“All I can say is, it’s a history that spans several years and there’s certainly a history of him being unhappy with health care … with the health care that he’d received,” Police Chief Pat Budke said during a press conference.

The police chief said it was too early to know if the man allegedly targeted a specific doctor.

Federal agents responded to the scene, while schools in the area were placed on lockdown.

A Fox 9 News producer posted a picture of the immediate scene outside the clinic on Twitter.
