Missy Edwards, former legislative assistant to ex-Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), will work on one of the accounts, while Aleix Jarvis, former legislative director to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), and Kirk Blalock, who was White House deputy director of public liaison under former President George W. Bush, will work on the other.
Hyundai Motor Co. hired K&L Gates LLP to work on issues related to legislative and executive actions affecting the automotive industry. Former Rep. Barton Gordon (D-Tenn.) and Stacy Ettinger, former senior legal and policy adviser to Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.), will work on the account.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
T-Mobile US Inc. hired Holland & Knight LLP to work on tax and telecommunications issues. Todd Wooten, former professional staff to Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee, will work on the account.
AEROSPACE
Airbus Americas Inc. hired Peck Madigan Jones to work on trade issues between the European Union and United States, as well as aerospace environmental issues and defense appropriations. Tim Molino, former counsel for Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sean Richardson, former chief of staff to Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), will work on the account.
Airbus Americas also hired Invariant Government Relations to educate members of Congress on Airbus’s presence in the United States. Noah Kowalski, former legislative correspondence manager to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), will work on the account.
AGRICULTURE
The U.S. Beet Sugar Association hired Forbes Tate Partners to work on issues related to the farm bill, climate, trade and agriculture. Ryan McConaghy, former assistant secretary for Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.), and Jeff Forbes, former staff director for Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee, will work on the account.
