More women accuse Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct
Two more women came forward Tuesday with allegations of sexual misconduct against Deshaun Watson, a quarterback for the Houston Texans, bringing the total number of women accusing him of lewd or nonconsensual sexual behavior to 16.
In two lawsuits filed by attorney Anthony Buzbee, who is jointly representing all the plaintiffs, two unnamed women accuse Watson of exposing himself in separate incidents, with one woman alleging that the Texans quarterback ejaculated on her during a personal training session at his home, according to NBC News.
An attorney for Watson dismissed the allegations against his client as attempts to malign his character, arguing that on at least one occasion one of the plaintiffs, who have all remained anonymous, tried to extort his client in exchange for silence.
The unnamed woman “attempted to blackmail Deshaun by demanding $30,000 in exchange for her ‘indefinite silence’ about what she stated was a consensual encounter,” attorney Rusty Hardin told reporters, according to NBC.
“I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect,” Watson added in his own lengthy statement released on Twitter.

Buzbee, meanwhile, contended to the news channel that as many as two dozen complaints could be filed against Watson for allegedly lewd or nonconsensual sexual behavior.
“The Buzbee Law Firm has now been hired by nine women to bring cases against Deshaun Watson,” Buzbee wrote on Instagram last week.
“The allegations are similar. We have filed three, and, as we complete our due diligence, will file the remaining ones in due course,” Buzbee continued, adding: “We are talking to several others.”
The NFL told reporters last week that it was aware of the allegations and was investigating, but declined to comment further.
