Nats series postponed due to COVID-19
The Washington Nationals baseball team announced on Friday that their games against the New York Mets scheduled for Saturday and Sunday will be postponed due to the coronavirus.
“Major league baseball announced today that the remainder of this weekend’s series between the host Washington Nationals and the New York Mets at Nationals Park, which includes games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, has been postponed due to continued follow-up testing and contact tracing involving members of the Nationals organization,” the team posted on Twitter.

Nationals General Manager Mike Rizzo said on Wednesday that one of the players on the team tested positive for COVID-19.
Four other players and a staff member are in quarantine since they were in close contact with the player that has the coronavirus.
The coronavirus case on the team was discovered Monday and prompted the team to postpone its Thursday season opener.
It is not clear when the series will be rescheduled.
The MLB has conducted 72,751 COVID-19 tests since spring training has begun and has had a 0.02 percent positivity rate with the virus.
