President Biden is scheduled to deliver remarks Thursday afternoon after meeting with families impacted by the partial collapse of a Surfside, Fla., condo building.
The collapse occurred in the town neighboring Miami. More than 140 people remain unaccounted for a week after the collapse, while the official death toll has risen to 18 people.
The president is scheduled to speak at 3:50 p.m. EDT.
