Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s son Eduardo Bolsonaro has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Eduardo Bolsonaro’s positive test follows the positive test of another top aide to the Brazilian president at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.

Eduardo Bolsonaro said in a series of tweets Friday he contracted the virus and is “feeling fine.”

“We know that vaccines were made faster than standard. I took the 1st dose of Pfizer and contracted COVID,” he said in a tweet translated into English.

“Does this mean the vaccine is useless? I do not believe,” he added.

Along with Eduardo Bolsonaro, Brazilian Agriculture Minister Tereza Cristina also said in a tweet Friday that she has contracted the virus.

“Good Morning! I let everyone know that I tested positive for #Covid19. I am well. I canceled my in-person appointments and will remain in isolation during the period of medical counseling,” she said in a tweet posted in Portuguese.

The positive tests come after the country’s health minister tested positive in New York at the U.N. General Assembly.

Eduardo Bolsonaro was on the trip to New York accompanying his father and the health minister. No one else from the group has announced a positive test.

Jair Bolsonaro, who has bragged about his unvaccinated status, went into isolation after returning to Brazil, along with the rest of the presidential delegation. Cristina was not part of the presidential delegation to New York.
