Adam Tarr joined Invariant as a director. Tarr most recently served as a senior professional staff member for the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee and previously served as senior adviser to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
Software company SAP hired Anjelica Dortch and Aaron Wasserman as senior directors of U.S. government affairs. Dortch most recently was a technology policy executive at IBM Corp. and previously served as senior technology adviser for the Office of Management and Budget. Wasserman previously served as contracting officer for the Navy and legislative director for Rep. Derek Kilmer (D-Wash.).
Dentons Global Advisors, an advisory firm partnered with law firm Dentons, announced the formation of a new government affairs subsidiary, DGA Government Relations. Veteran lobbyists Sander Lurie, Brad Queisser and John Russell will lead the firm.
Elizabeth Brown joined the Children’s Hospital Association as vice president of federal affairs. Brown most recently served as legislative director and House Energy and Commerce Committee staffer for Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.).
Honeywell hired Ryan White as director of government relations. White most recently served as senior political and legislative adviser to the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineers and previously was legislative director for then-Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.).
Venn Strategies promoted Ben Steinberg to executive vice president and co-chair of the firm’s critical infrastructure practice. Steinberg joined Venn in 2018 and previously served as a senior Energy Department aide.
