GOP Rep. Mica: Post office becoming ‘extinct’
“I didn’t send an mail to my daughters today,” Mica said in the meeting as he held up his smart phone. “I sent them an email.
“You can order your medicines over that, but you cannot get them delivered to your home,” countered American Postal Workers Union President Cliff Guffey.
The American Postal Workers Unions and the post office agreed to a deal that both sides say would save about $3.8 billion over the next four years.
