Philadelphia considering banning texting while walking
{mosads}Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has called distracted driving an “epidemic,” and pushed states to place limits on cellphone use in cars. More than 30 states have so far passed some sort of ban on texting behind the wheel.
The Department of Transportation has not said much about texting while on the move on foot, however.
