I’m the campaign editor for The Hill, overseeing coverage of elections up and down the ballot, including the race for the White House. I got my start at The Hill as an intern more than a decade ago before leaving D.C. to work abroad. I returned to the capital after Donald Trump’s election in 2016, working as an associate editor for The Hill for several years before taking over campaign duties in 2020, shortly before the November election. In between my stints at The Hill, I taught English in China and worked as a reporter for Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster, where I covered the refugee crisis, the rise of right-wing populism in Europe and conflict in the Middle East. I’m a D.C. native and hold degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Michigan, where I worked as an editor and writer for the student-run newspaper, The Michigan Daily.
