I’m a business and defense reporter, covering all things lobbying, Pentagon and the U.S. military. I started at The Hill as an editorial intern in 2023 before joining the breaking news team. 

Prior to working at The Hill, I interned at The Seattle Times where I focused on politics, public safety and homelessness. I worked at Mediaite where I wrote about the intersection of media and politics. I interned at OpenSecrets where I covered money-in-politics. I studied communication with an emphasis on journalism and media studies at Whitworth University. During my time at Whitworth, I worked as a sports reporter and editor at WU’s student newspaper, The Whitworthian.
