I’m responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Hill’s newsroom, including our print issue and our online coverage. I’ve been an editor at The Hill for more than a decade and started as a reporter covering international trade and Congress. I work closely with dozens of reporters and editors in guiding The Hill’s coverage of politics and policy on a daily basis. I’m a North Dakota native with a background in journalism. I started my career by launching an arts and entertainment publication in Grand Forks, N.D., before covering the North Dakota legislature for the Grand Forks Herald. In Washington, I covered the World Trade Organization’s Doha negotiations and the development of several bilateral trade deals under President George W. Bush.
