I cover campaigns and the White House for The Hill, reporting on the 2024 presidential election and on the Biden administration. I previously worked on The Hill’s breaking news desk, covering a wide range of stories on Congress, courts and more.
I’m a graduate of the University of Oregon and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where I received my Master’s in journalism with a focus in politics, policy and foreign affairs reporting. I earned Medill’s highest award for graduate students, the Harrington Award for Subject Depth Reporting, as well as a scholarship from the White House Correspondents’ Association.
Before starting at The Hill, I covered Capitol Hill and elections for USA Today, United Press International and several regional outlets, including the Wisconsin State Journal and the Tampa Bay Times. I was also managing editor and co-author of an investigative reporting book published by Anthem Press.
