I cover health care, focusing on the intersection of health policy and politics. I’ve been at the Hill since 2016. In that time, I’ve covered everything from state Medicaid expansion fights, Medicare payment rules, Capitol Hill drug pricing reform efforts and the effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
Prior to joining The Hill, I was a health reporter for BNA (the company now known as BGov). BNA gave me my first official start in DC reporting in 2009, covering medical devices and hospital Medicare payment policy.
I’m a Massachusetts native, with a degree in journalism from Ithaca College.
