I cover energy and environment policy for The Hill: That’s everything from climate change to gasoline prices to toxic chemicals to renewable and fossil energy. I have been covering the environment and energy since early 2020 and also spent nearly a year on The Hill’s breaking news team.

I am also a co-author of the book “Poisoning the Well: How Forever Chemicals Contaminated America,” which traces a history of neglect and subsequent devastation to American communities that left virtually everyone with toxic substances in their blood.

I’m originally from South Florida. I studied journalism and political science at (the very cold) Northwestern University.

Previously, my work has appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, The Daily Beast, the Tampa Bay Times and The Palm Beach Post.
