Rep. Ralph Hall (R-Texas), the oldest-serving member of Congress, was hospitalized Saturday after being injured in a car accident.
{mosads}Hall, 91, was airlifted to the Medical Center of Plano for treatment, according to Dallas’ WFAA.
The Republican suffered a hip injury and minor cuts and bruises after a car turned in front of his vehicle. He was leaving a county parade.
In May, Hall lost his bid for reelection to former U.S. Attorney John Ratcliffe in his toughest political fight. He is scheduled to leave office in January after serving 17 terms.
