Movie star and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich is as unstoppable as a Terminator.
Campaigning with the Ohio governor in a telephone town hall on Friday night, Schwarzenegger compared Kasich to his most famous role as a cyborg assassin in the film “Terminator,” according to WCPO Cincinnati.
{mosads}He noted that the character in the 1984 movie doesn’t feel pain and is practically unstoppable.
“This is you,” he told Kasich. “You are the Terminator.”
The actor contributed $2,700 to Kasich’s campaign last year and has appeared at fundraisers for the Ohio governor, though he has not officially endorsed him.
Kasich, meanwhile, landed a celebrity endorsement this week in talk show host Montel Williams, who said in a USA Today op-ed that “we need an adult in the White House.”
