Politicians and pundits have a lot to discuss this week, with the Sunday shows coming just two days before Super Tuesday and two days after a key development in the Republican race.
In a surprise twist, Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J) is dominating the news this week with his endorsement of former rival and current Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
Despite no longer being in the presidential race, Christie will make three appearances this week to discuss the endorsement and most likely take aim at Marco Rubio.
Sens. Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders will also make the rounds on Sunday in an effort to give their respective campaigns a boost ahead of Super Tuesday.
Here is the rest of the lineup:
ABC’s “This Week:” Christie makes an appearance to talk about the endorsement, while Cruz and Sanders discuss their Super Tuesday chances.
CBS’ “Face the Nation:” Donald Trump comes on to talk about his momentum going into Super Tuesday. Cruz and Sanders also make appearances.
CNN’s “State of the Union:” John Kasich makes an appearance following a New York Times report that revealed that many in the Republican establishment want him to drop out. Cruz and Christie also join.
“Fox News Sunday:” Trump comes on to talk about his Super Tuesday strategy. Cruz makes his fourth appearance of the day.
NBC’s “Meet the Press:” Trump makes another appearance to talk about the endorsement from Christie and Super Tuesday. Cruz, Sanders and Kasich will also be giving interviews.
