Trump slams ‘totally biased’ judge in Trump U case
Donald Trump is lashing out against a federal judge who ruled against him and ordered documents unsealed in a lawsuit over Trump University.
“An Obama pick. Totally biased-hates Trump,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee tweeted on Monday evening:
I have a judge in the Trump University civil case, Gonzalo Curiel (San Diego), who is very unfair. An Obama pick. Totally biased-hates Trump

I should have easily won the Trump University case on summary judgement but have a judge, Gonzalo Curiel, who is totally biased against me.

Trump is being sued for his connection to the real estate school, which allegedly defrauded students.
The case will not go to trial until after the presidential election in November. But, in advance of the trial, Curiel ruled over the weekend that more than 100 pages of sensitive, internal documents from Trump University should be unsealed.
The ruling, which was requested by The Washington Post, is considered a setback for Trump.
This isn’t the first time Trump has criticized the judge, who is Hispanic. The GOP presidential candidate insinuated Friday that Curiel is treating him unfairly because of negative comments Trump has made about Mexican immigrants, allegations a spokeswoman defended on CNN on Monday.
