Russia’s Lavrov on US presidential race: ‘There are so many p—ies on both sides’

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview on Wednesday weighed in on the U.S. elections, saying there are a lot of “p—ies” on both sides.

{mosads}Lavrov warned CNN that his response to a question about the presidential election may not sound “decent.”

“Well, I don’t know if this would — English is not my mother tongue. I don’t know if I would sound decent. There are so many p—ies around your presidential campaign on both sides that I prefer not to comment on it.”

Lavrov, who has been a strong critic of U.S. foreign policy, also continued to deny any Russian involvement in attempts to influence U.S. elections.

“Now everybody in the United States is saying that it is Russia which is running the [U.S.] presidential debate,” he said. “We have not seen a single fact, a single proof.”
