Berlin attack suspect pledged support to ISIS in video: report
The man suspected of ramming a truck into a Berlin Christmas market earlier this week pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in a video, according to a terrorism expert.
Rita Katz, director of Site Intelligence Group, tweeted that the news service Amaq, often used by ISIS, released the video.

{mosads}The release of the video comes shortly after news that the suspect, 24-year-old Anis Amri, was killed in a shootout with police in Milan, Italy, early on Friday.
Amri pulled a gun at about 3 a.m. local time and police returned fire, according to reports.
3)Anis Amri claims his attack is vengeance for airstrikes against Muslims, he wishes to punish “pig-eaters”& to become a “shaheed” (martyr)

4)This video gives further indication that Amri had ties with #ISIS, but that his attack itself was ISIS-inspired, not ISIS-coordinated
