Trump has spent almost a quarter of his time as president in Florida: report

President Trump has spent almost one-quarter of his time as president in Florida, according to a Palm Beach Post report on Monday.

Trump has traveled to Palm Beach four out of the seven weekends since he became president.

As of Sunday, when he left Florida, he had spent almost 242 hours in the Sunshine State out of 1,060 hours in office.

{mosads}He spent most of his time at or near the his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, according to the Post.

Trump has used some of his time in Florida for business.

He met with Cabinet secretaries on Saturday, including Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and Florida Governor Rick Scott (R). He met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe last month amid a North Korean missile launch. And Trump also conducted interviews for potential national security adviser picks in February at “the Southern White House,” as Trump calls the resort.

Trump also made brief trips to Tampa, Melbourne and Orlando during his time in Florida.
