Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Cameron Kasky responded to the latest high school shooting in a tweet on Friday, telling his followers to prepare for the National Rifle Association to “boast about getting higher donations.”

“At least 8 students have been shot and killed at Santa Fe High School,” Kasky, a survivor of the Parkland, Fla., high school shooting, wrote on Twitter. “Prepare to watch the NRA boast about getting higher donations. Prepare to see students rise up and be called ‘civil terrorists’ and crisis actors. Prepare for the right-wing media to attack the survivors.”

Kasky’s tweet is in response to the multiple deaths reported Friday after a shooter opened fire at Santa Fe High School in southeast Texas.

Federal and local law enforcement told local media that a suspect is in custody after at least nine people were killed and an officer — as well as multiple students — were injured.

Kasky is one of the students who began to organize in favor of gun reform after the February shooting at Stoneman Douglas, which left 17 people dead.

Kasky, who frequently targets the NRA, went on to criticize President Trump in another tweet, saying: “Donald Trump does not care about school shootings.”

Multiple Parkland survivors tweeted in the wake of the Texas shooting on Friday.
