Clinton takes Ohio
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is projected to win the Ohio primary.
{mosads}The Associated Press called the race just over an hour after polls closed at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
The former secretary of State’s victory will give her most of the Buckeye State’s 143 pledged delegates, as well as blunt rival Bernie Sanders’s momentum.
Sanders had gained ground in Ohio after his victory last week in nearby Michigan’s primary, polling within a few points of Clinton.
