Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is projected to win the North Carolina primary.
MSNBC and Fox News called the state for Clinton less than an hour after polls closed at 7:30 p.m. EDT. She had been long expected to cruise to a victory, with a significant polling lead in the state.
{mosads}North Carolina’s 107 pledged delegates are awarded proportionally. So Clinton will expand her lead on rival Bernie Sanders, with the total edge depending on how wide her lead is when all votes are counted.
