Clinton aide: ‘Zero chance’ Dems face contested convention
Hillary Clinton’s press secretary says there is “zero chance” the Democratic presidential contest drags past June.
Responding to Bernie Sanders’s campaign manager, who said he expects a contested convention with neither candidate clinching the nomination, Brian Fallon slammed that hypothetical late Friday.
“There is zero chance that @HillaryClinton doesn’t clinch the nomination by June,” he tweeted.

{mosads}Clinton leads the race with 1,280 pledged delegates to Sanders’s 1,030.
In addition, Clinton has received the support of 469 unpledged superdelegates, while Sanders only has 31 so far.
Candidates need 2,382 overall delegates to clinch the nomination.
Fallon also drew attention to a tweet by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, saying Trump and Clinton are in a similar situation.
“Isn’t it a shame that the person who will have by far the most delegates and many millions more votes than anyone else, me, still must fight,” Trump wrote.
The businessman has a big delegate lead over his rivals but is facing a possible contested convention.
Fallon quoted Trump’s words and added: “You’re also describing @HillaryClinton. Only she doesn’t complain about fighting on. She welcomes it.”
