Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is projected to win the Montana primary.
Sanders will take the majority of the state’s 21 pledged delegates, cutting only marginally into rival Hillary Clinton’s delegate lead.
{mosads}The Associated Press reported Monday night that with her superdelegate support, Clinton has secured the 2,383 delegates needed to clinch the Democratic nomination.
Sanders has vowed to stay in the race until the Democratic National Convention in July, but pressure is building on him to drop out and help unite the party ahead of a general election battle against presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
