Clinton wins New Jersey
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is projected to win the New Jersey primary.
Fox News and CNN called the race for Clinton shortly after 9 p.m. EDT, about an hour after polls closed.
Clinton will win a majority of the state’s 126 pledged delegates, further expanding her delegate lead over rival Bernie Sanders.
{mosads}The victory gives Clinton a clean sweep of the Mid-Atlantic, after earlier victories in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and other nearby states.
Democrats go to the polls in five other states on Tuesday night, most notably California, which offers 475 pledged delegates.
