House Dems raise $61 million in 2011
{mosads}The NRCC ended November with $14.5 million cash on hand, so unless they spent far more than they took in during December, they will still have more in the bank than Democrats heading into the new year.
But the DCCC’s 2011 haul is a significant achievement for the party out of power, and will be crucial to their ability to fund fights in enough districts to give them hope of flipping the 25 seats they need to regain the majority in 2012.
