Rep. Nick Rahall (D-W.Va.) is facing fire from conservative group Americans for Prosperity, which is launching an ad hammering him on ObamaCare this week.
The national conservative group affiliated with the deep-pocketed Koch Brothers is opening a West Virginia chapter this week as well, according to a local ABC affiliate. The local foothold will give them the opportunity to organize on the ground in competitive West Virginia races, like Rahall’s.
{mosads}Rahall is a perennial Republican target and is facing state Sen. Evan Jenkins, a former Democrat who switched parties to challenge the congressman.
Rahall’s already been the subject of ObamaCare attacks from AFP, which has since August spent more than $22 million hammering Democrats on ObamaCare and thanking Republicans for their work against the law.
