Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas) is up with a major ad buy touting his work to help the GOP win back House control in 2010.
{mosads}”Pete Sessions: He led the conservative takeover of Congress, took Nancy Pelosi out of power,” says the new ad for the former National Congressional Campaign Committee chairman.
“But I’m not finished yet. We have to roll back the Obama agenda and get businesses hiring nationwide,” Sessions says in the ad.
Sessions is facing off against Tea Party candidate Katrina Pierson (R) in his race for reelection and is leveraging his huge cash advantage to go on-air in the expensive Dallas media market ahead of the early March primary.
Sessions had $1.3 million in the bank as of the end of December and is spending $300,000 to air the ad, while Pierson had less than $50,000 in her bank account. He’s expected to win his primary by a comfortable margin.
