New Jersey lawmaker hangs onto safe GOP seat
Incumbent Rep. Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) won reelection in New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District Tuesday against Democrat Roy Cho, according to The Associated Press.
It was expected to be a safe Republican seat.
{mosads}Garrett was first elected to the House in 2002. He previously served in New Jersey’s General Assembly.
Cho is a corporate lawyer who had never previously run for office.
