SNL alum looking at Iowa House bid
A former Saturday Night Live actor is weighing a bid against freshman Rep. Rod Blum (R-Iowa).
{mosads}Gary Kroeger, a Cedar Falls native who was on SNL in the early 1980s and later did voice work on the TV version of “Dilbert,” told the WCF Courier that he’s “thinking about” a run against Blum in the Democratic-leaning district.
“I’ve been asked (to run) but there are so many moving parts to consider. Giving myself about a month (to decide) but with lots of planning during that time,” he told the paper.
