Ready for Hillary staffs up

Ready for Hillary has added two new staff members as the super-PAC continues to urge Hillary Clinton to make a 2016 White House bid.

{mosads}The group hired Amy Drummond as data director and Neisha Blandin as grassroots fundraising director, the super-PAC announced Tuesday.

Drummond joins the super-PAC from the New Organizing Institute, an organization that offers training to political organizers, as well as the League of Conservation Voters, as director of data and analytics.

Blandin formerly worked as a finance consultant on the campaigns of Rep. Grace Meng (D-N.Y.) and various local New York politicians.

According to a release, the position of data director was created to help collect “high-quality information about current and prospective supporters who can be activated the moment Hillary makes a decision.” The grassroots fundraising position was launched because of significant interest from grassroots donors, the group said, looking to host events charging $20.16 per ticket.

The group launched last year with the support of a number of current and former Clinton allies, though it remains independent of the potential candidate, to develop a grassroots infrastructure in case Clinton decides to launch a campaign.

She has not yet indicated her plans for 2016, but the former secretary of state leads every poll of the Democratic primary.
