George P. Bush said in an interview that aired Sunday he thinks his father, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), will “more than likely” run for president in 2016.

{mosads}”I think it’s more than likely that he’s giving this a serious thought in moving forward,” George P. Bush told ABC News. “If you had asked me a few years back, I would’ve said it was less likely.”

George P. Bush said if his father decided to run, he and his family would support that decision “a hundred percent.”

A Bush 2016 ticket could have appeal for Hispanics: the former governor’s wife was born in Mexico, and he has advocated expanding the Republican Party’s appeal to Hispanics.

The younger Bush is making his first run for elected office as Texas land commissioner.
