Jeb to leave Barclays

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) will leave his role with Barclays at the end of the year, the latest sign he’s moving toward a presidential run.

{mosads}Bush will finish his advising role with the banking giant on Dec. 31, the first sign he’s winding down his business dealings in preparation for a potential presidential bid.

The former governor has been making strong signals he’s leaning toward a run, announcing on Tuesday that he’ll “actively explore” a campaign. He also has a leadership PAC and an e-book in the works, and has been much more active in recent weeks as he considers a run.

The Financial Times first reported Bush’s departure.
