Donald Trump defended his controversial proposal to bar Muslims from entering the U.S. during Tuesday’s GOP debate, saying his focus is security not religion.
“We are not talking about isolation, we’re talking security,” Trump said at the debate in Las Vegas, hosted by CNN. “We’re not talking about religion, we’re talking about security.”
{mosads}The GOP front-runner also highlighted his vow to build a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico to stop illegal immigration.
“Drugs will not pour through that wall,” he added.
