Glenn Beck: Rubio would ‘crush’ Clinton
Glenn Beck is predicting Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) would “crush” Hillary Clinton should he win the GOP’s presidential nomination.
“He will crush Hillary Clinton — crush her,” Beck said in a new online ad from the Rubio campaign titled “The Conservative Choice for President.”
{mosads}“I’m just really impressed,” the conservative commentator added of Rubio’s résumé compared with Clinton’s.
Rubio also receives praise from conservative television personality Tomi Lahren in the clip released Thursday.
“So here it is — I pick Marco Rubio for president,” TheBlaze host said. “Here’s why: Rubio is young, tenacious, well-spoken and, most importantly, he can actually win.”
Rubio’s latest campaign spot also touts glowing reviews he has received from a number of conservative organizations.
It spotlights “100 percent” rankings from the National Right to Life Committee, Americans for Prosperity and FreedomWorks.
The ad also boasts about Rubio’s “98 percent” from the American Conservative Union, his “97 percent” from Club for Growth and his “96 percent” from Heritage Action for America.
Other plaudits include “A” grades from the National Rifle Association and the National Taxpayers Union, as well as a “Taxpayer Superhero” title from Citizens Against Government Waste.
The commercial’s release comes as Rubio is facing fresh scrutiny of his conservative credentials on issues like immigration reform.
He has also come under fire from other GOP White House hopefuls for his Senate voting record and his perceived toughness on the campaign trail.
Rubio currently takes third place in the crowded Republican field, with 11.3 percent, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of samplings.
The Florida lawmaker next meets his rivals in the GOP’s sixth presidential debate in North Charleston, S.C., Thursday night.
