Graham: Trump ‘all-over-the-board crazy’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) slammed GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday, calling the businessman “all-over-the-board crazy.”

“I think Donald Trump is all-over-the-board crazy,” he told Fox News’s “Fox and Friends.” “I think you’re crazy if you think you’re going to deport American born citizen children of illegal immigrants. I think that’s just demagoguery.”

{mosads}Graham, who ended his bid for the Republican presidential nomination late last month, has repeatedly criticized Trump since the businessman entered the race.

Trump has gotten backlash for his immigration positions, including saying last year he would deport the 11 million illegal immigrants currently in the United States.

Graham also took aim at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), another GOP candidate, calling him the “most divisive figure I’ve ever seen in the United States Senate.”

“I don’t think he can bring us together. His foreign policy is all over the board,” Graham added Tuesday on Cruz.

Cruz has been known to alienate his GOP colleagues, including when he called Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) a liar from the Senate floor.

Graham endorsed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush earlier this month. Bush is currently trailing Trump and Cruz as the two battle for the top spot in the upcoming Iowa caucuses.

The South Carolina senator added on Tuesday that he thinks neither Trump or Cruz “are ready on day one to be commander in chief.”

“They can’t bring this country together, and Jeb Bush can,” he told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
