Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush on Saturday sneezed at the notion of serving as the running mate to primary front-runner Donald Trump.
{mosads}“No,” he responded sharply to a reporter in South Carolina, drawing laughs. “Let’s be clear: I don’t think he would ask me.”
Former Republican primary candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who has endorsed Bush for president, can be seen chuckling at the suggestion, as well.
The former Florida governor has repeatedly questioned Trump’s conservatism and balked at the billionaire businessman’s abrasive manner.
Trump, for his part, has needled Bush as a “low-energy” candidate and accused his brother, former President George W. Bush, of lying about the Iraq invasion.
