Clinton jokes about subway problems

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton jokingly chastised New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio late Saturday about the city’s subway station turnstiles after she momentarily got locked out of one.

{mosads}”There are a lot of things I could ask you of international, national, state and city importance, but will you just fix these metro card slots in the subway?” Clinton asked de Blasio during a skit at the New York City press corps’ annual Inner Circle dinner.

“It took me like five swipes. The little terminal thing kept saying ‘please swipe again.’ I mean, you’ve got to fix that.”

A video of Clinton struggling to enter a subway turnstile went viral last week when she repeatedly had to swipe the card to gain entry.
