Sanders: I made less in a year than Clinton did with one speech
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is boasting that he made less in a year than rival Hillary Clinton did with a single speech.
What you’ll find in my tax returns is that I made less in one year as a U.S. Senator than Sec. Clinton did in one speech to Wall Street.

{mosads}The Vermont senator made a little more than $200,000 in 2014, according to tax returns released last week. He has promised to release his full tax returns from recent years in the near future.
Clinton, a former secretary of State, has often commanded large speaking fees for remarks at events for banks, corporations and universities.
A report last week found Clinton received $280,000 for a speech to Deutsch Bank AG in 2014, among other pricey engagements.
“Look, I made speeches to lots of groups. I told them what I thought. I answered questions,” Clinton explained in February, saying of the fees, “That’s what they offered.”
Sanders’s remark comes on the day of the New York primary. Clinton, ahead in polls in the Empire State, is expected to add to her overall delegate lead on Sanders.
