Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton won a little over half of Hispanic voters in Tuesday’s New York primary, according to exit polls from Fox News.
She won 57 percent of Hispanics compared to Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, who received 43 percent support from Hispanic voters.
{mosads}According to the exit polls, Sanders won among young voters under age 30 with 69 percent, compared to Clinton with 31 percent. Sanders typically performs well among this electorate.
Polls in the Empire State closed at 9 p.m., but the race is still too close to call.
The former secretary of State is expected to clinch a victory in her state and hoping to blunt Sanders momentum after he’s won the last eight of nine contests.
But the Vermont senator has been attracting tens of thousands of supporters at rallies and ramping up his attacks against the front-runner.
