Donald Trump on Monday said that Hillary Clinton outraged men and Native Americans by commenting that she can handle men who “go off the reservation.”

“I think it’s a very nasty statement to men,” he told host Chris Cuomo on CNN’s “New Day.” “She has been taking a lot of heat from people for that statement.

{mosads}“If I made that statement, it would be front-page news,” the GOP presidential front-runner added. “If I made that statement, it would be a big, big story.”

Clinton said last Friday that she is capable of dealing with men like Trump.

“I have a lot of experience dealing with men who sometimes go off the reservation in the way they behave and how they speak,” the Democratic presidential front-runner said on CNN.

Trump said on Monday that Clinton’s comments are inaccurate, adding that they offend Native Americans.

“She doesn’t do a very good job with men who get off the reservation,” he said. “The Indians have gone wild on that statement.”

Trump added that Clinton fares poorly with her own gender despite the possibility of her becoming the first woman elected president.

“Frankly, she doesn’t do very well with women,” he said. “She is playing the woman card. If she didn’t play the woman card, she would have absolutely no chance of winning.

“I’m going to do a better job for women than Hillary can do. I haven’t started on Hillary yet. Based on her record, based on what she’s done, it should be really interesting.”
