Mark Cuban: Clinton should pick ‘someone like me’ for VP

Investor Mark Cuban said Thursday that Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton should pick a someone like himself as her running mate to go after presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

{mosads}”I would get a vice presidential candidate who’s someone like me who would just throw bombs at Donald,” Cuban said at a conference in Las Vegas, according to Business Insider.

“And I would be like, ‘Donald, I like you, we’re friends, but you’re a goddamn airhead,'” Cuban added at the SkyBridge Alternatives event, according to the report.

Cuban floated such a scenario earlier this week, too, telling CNBC, “Imagine if Hillary brought me in or brought somebody like me in and went more to the center and became more business-friendly.”

The Dallas Mavericks owner remarked Thursday on his “love-hate relationship” with Trump, a fellow outspoken billionaire businessman with whom Cuban said he goes “way back.”

“There’s that guy who’ll walk into the bar and say anything to get laid. That’s Donald Trump right now to a T. But it’s all of us who are going to get f—ed,” Cuban remarked, according to BI.

Cuban has long weighed in on the 2016 race, remarking last year he’d be Trump’s running mate if asked and speculating in February he’d be a better candidate than Trump.
