Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Monday said her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will not serve in her Cabinet if she wins the election in November.
{mosads}During a campaign stop in Paducah, Ky., Hillary Clinton was asked if her husband would be in her Cabinet, according to ABC News.
Hillary Clinton shook and her head and said, “No.”
On Sunday, the former secretary of State said that she would put Bill Clinton “in charge of revitalizing the economy.”
“He knows how to do it,” Hillary Clinton said in Covington, Ky.
At a campaign event in early May, she said she would bring Bill out of retirement to create jobs.
“He’s got more ideas a minute than anybody I know,” she said. “Gotta put people back to work and make it happen. So we’re going to give it all we’ve got, absolute full-in 100 percent effort, because I worry we won’t recognize our country if we don’t do this.”
