Donald Trump will celebrate the Memorial Day weekend by attending the largest annual gathering of motorcycle bikers, according to a report.

Trump will appear on Sunday at this year’s Rolling Thunder event in Washington, D.C., according to Bloomberg Politics.

{mosads}“I am doing it in honor of the great bikers who have been totally supportive of my campaign and now I want to be supportive of them,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee said in a statement. “I look forward to it!”

Bloomberg on Thursday reported that this year’s rally is called the “First Amendment Demonstration Run.”

It begins at noon Eastern on Sunday at the North Pentagon parking lot in Arlington, Va., with riders then circling the National Mall.

Motorcycle fans have been a visible presence at Trump’s campaign events since last year, according to Bloomberg.

Dozens of bikers organized a meet-up in New York the week before Trump won that state’s primary. Trump also thanked a crowd of chopper enthusiasts in January for their support during a stop in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

A group called Bikers For Trump 2016 claims it has 45,000 members, according to Bloomberg. They are reportedly selling T-shirts to fund a rally planned for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this July.

A co-founder of Citizens for Trump on Monday said “tens of thousands” of the group’s members would attend Rolling Thunder in D.C. alongside the businessman.

“In just about every speech he made from the beginning of his campaign, Mr. Donald Trump has acknowledged the men and women that served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces,” George Lombardi wrote on his website. “[It] is no secret that Mr. Trump favors a strong military and that he personally supported many veteran charities.

“It is a clear message and that is a message that resonates with millions of voters, those who served in the military as well as those millions that believe we need a strong, morally upright military.”
