Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is hitting Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz in a new video that seizes on her resignation and the recent DNC email leak, The Washington Post reported Monday night.
{mosads}The video, which was released on the first day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, features a mock job application for the Florida congresswoman to work for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Clinton’s campaign logo appears in the corner of the mock up.
It ticks through her list of experience, which includes: “rigging election, well-versed in colluding with media, proficient in lying and conspiring, and capable of stealing votes.”
The video follows a rough Sunday for Wasserman Schultz, who said she would step down as DNC head at the end of the convention this week.
Her resignation stems from a WikiLeaks dump of 20,000 internal DNC emails last Friday, with some showing top officials seemingly working to undermine Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the primary.
