Poll: Clinton up by 11 points in Michigan
Hillary Clinton has an 11-point lead over Donald Trump in Michigan, according to a new poll released Friday.
{mosads}The EPIC-MRA of Lansing poll shows the Democrat with 43 percent support among likely voters in the state and Trump at 32 percent.
Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson receives 8 percent support, and presumptive Green Party nominee Jill Stein receives 3 percent.
In a head-to-head match-up between just the two, Clinton has 46 percent to Trump’s 36 percent.
The poll surveyed 600 likely voters in Michigan between July 30 and Aug. 4 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 points.
Both Clinton and her GOP rival are expected to visit the swing state in the coming days. Trump will deliver a speech Monday in Detroit on economic policy.
Michigan is considered a battleground this year, though a Republican presidential candidate hasn’t won the state since George H. W. Bush in 1988.
A RealClearPolitics polling average shows Clinton with a 6-point advantage in the state, 41 percent to 35 percent.
